Hakuba - Resort Representative/Driver

Join SkiJapan.com as a member of our Guest Services Team in Hakuba this winter season! We are looking for friendly and efficient staff, preferably bilingual, to enhance our customer service experience. Key Responsibilities: - Meet and greet guests at the resort. - Drive guests to and from village/resort accommodations and facilitate intra-village ski shuttles. - Provide guests with local information and assistance. - Must be available to work during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Additional Responsibilities: - Promote activities such as snowmobiling and cultural tours. - Assist with rental equipment setup for guests. - Conduct guest check-ins and check-outs based on provided information. Preferred Experience/Training: - Personal customer service experience (face-to-face). - Experience in travel/tourism or outdoor education/activity guiding. - Previous resort/seasonal work experience or skiing/snowboarding experience. Personal Attributes: - Responsible, energetic, and confident with a can-do attitude. - Friendly personality and ability to work well in a team. - Flexible with irregular work hours. Language Requirements: - Must be an English speaker at a business level or higher. - Additional language skills are a bonus but not essential. Driving License Requirements: You must possess one of the following: - Driving license issued from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan. - International Driving Permit (IDP) compliant under The Geneva Convention on Road Traffic. Visa Requirements: - A Working Holiday Visa is required for this position. Remuneration Package: - Hourly wage discussed during the interview. - Staff accommodation available. - Ski lift pass (refundable upon contract completion with a clean disciplinary record). Employment Dates: - **Full Season:** 25th November 2024 - 31st March 2025 - **Short-Term:** 25th November 2024 - 20th February 2025 - Work hours and days are dependent on snow conditions and customer demand, flexibility is necessary. Working Hours: - Full time, averaging 36-40 hours per week, with higher hours during peak seasons.
